I just read the news, Kohei Uchimura, the reigning World Champion, won’t compete at the first all-around World Cup in Jacksonville next month! Lu Bo (CHN) and Sergey Khorokhordin (RUS) won’t follow the invitation either. Still on the list are Philipp Boy (GER), Jonathan Horton (USA), Mykola Kuksenkov (UKR), Daniel Purvis (GBR), Koji Uematsu (JPN) and the 9th placed Samuel Hunter (GBR) and 12th Kim Soo Myun (KOR) from Worlds 2010.
On the women’s side, it’s still not sure if Elisabeth Seitz will compete. She’ll decide in the next two weeks whether she’s prepared enough after she had to undergo surgery last November or not.
These news come from the official website of the German Gymnastics Federation (DTB). On the FIG website, the definitive registrations for the meet is still not updated.

with Horton’s broken thumb, and having only competed one event at Winter Cup, I’d bet he drops out too.
