Krisztian Berki shines on Pommel Horse

Men’s Pommel Horse is not exactly my favourite event to watch. But Krisztian Berki (HUN) delivered not only an incredible difficult routine at the European Championships EFs, held today (27th May 2012) in Montpellier, he’s extremely elegant, too. Look at his long (white) legs doing those flares!

Click play or watch his gold-medal-winning routine on YouTube:

He defeated Louis Smith (GBR) with 15.985 to 15.775 – same D-Score but better execution (9.058 compared to Smith’s 8.875). Harutyum Merdinyan (ARM) came third with 15.300 (6.4).
