German Bundesliga starts!

The German Bundes- and Regionalligen (women) start this weekend in Wedel, near Hamburg. Eight teams with basically German but also European gymnasts compete in four competitions for the title.

The men Bundesliga already began last weekend. German gymnasts Fabian Hambuchen, Philipp Boy or Matthias Fahrig will compete as well as European gymnasts Marian Dragulescu (ROM), Flavius Kozci (ROM), Jeffrey Wammes (NED) or Niki Böschenstein (SUI). (full athletes list)

Interesting news about the women:

Alina Kozich (no country is mentioned!) will compete for TV Hoffnungsthal as well as Aagje Van Walleghem (BEL)

Oksana Chusovitina is listed as a team member, Daria Bijak too (both TTT Köln)

Lieke & Sanne Wevers, Wyomi Masela and Suzanne Harmes (all NED) are part of the EnBW TT Stuttgart/Ulm

Marine Petit (FRA) and Adela Sajn (SLO) compete for TG Karlsruhe-Söllingen

– German Olympians Joeline Möbius, Marie-Sophie Hindermann, Anja Brinker, Kim Bui will also compete
