This week only six contributors had an opinion on Which NCAA school is really going to shock everyone this year?

In addition to the four AA World Cups, two EF World Cups (Cat. A) will be held in Moscow (13-14 May) and Paris (19-20 March)! So tomorrow, the first FIG World Cup 2011 for event finals will take place in Paris.

Invited are the eight finalists on each apparatus from Rotterdam and the four best gymnasts from the 2010 World Cup Ranking List. Out of these 12 gymnasts per apparatus only four qualify for the finals! The host country may nominate one gymnast (one male & one female) who competes with a ‘Wild Card’ in one of the event finals. The US (Sacramone, Bross, Sloan and Raisman), Ksenia Afanasyeva (FX), Austria’s Barbara Gasser (UB) and Beth Tweddle (UB) (no replacement yet) won’t be in France. Paula Plichta (POL) replaces Tjasa Kysselef (SLO) on VT. So far, they don’t have a replacement for Jade Barbosa on VT. Fiona Novak (SLO) and Marine Petit (FRA) compete on BB instead of Marlies Rijken (NED). Watch out for these competitiors at the 18è Internationaux de France (official website)!

On the men’s side, the German guys Hambüchen (injured) and Boy dropped out as well as Diego Hypolito, Steven Legendre, Anton Fokin (UZB), Harutyum Merdinyan (ARM), Kristian Berki and World Champion Kohei Uchimura.
