Anysia Unick might be the next Sanne Wevers

Canadian Anysia Unick won the senior all-around at the Nadia Comaneci Invitational 2011 with this beam routine. She shows three different turns (double, triple, 1.5 leg up), on the last turn she falls unfortunately, and a skill which I haven’t seen in a while: a flic-flac with step out from side position.

Madeline Gardiner had a bad day falling twice on FX and once on UB but somehow managed to place 2nd overall. Her beam is really nice to watch, especially the double turn in tucked position.

Other routines you should watch are Reagan Hemry‘s (3rd, senior) BB in which she doesn’t perform any exceptional skill, but throughout the whole routine she seems to be very focused, secure and having a good time.

Mackenzie Brannan won the junior competition. On the UB she shows really good form and despite a fall on her Shaposhnikova she still pulls off a stuck double layout dismount.
