As the German team qualified directly to the Olympic Games, they could take a longer break and didn’t have to show up at the London Test Event. So, there’s not much information in the world wide web at what they’re doing and at which level they are right now. Even their training camp at Brestyan’s American Gymnastics Club with Aly Raisman in January went by quietly.
Elisabeth Seitz: According to her website she already did a non-public all-around competition in Cologne (no videos or further infos). But we’ll all see her – also as the covergirl of the whole competitions – in Cottbus (only on bars).
Kim Bui: Will compete everything except vault in Cottbus.
Pia Tolle: Will compete all-around in Cottbus.
Will compete in Cottbus (vault, beam). UPDATE: Won’t compete in Cottbus due to an trapped nerve in her back. Nothing serious.
Lisa-Katharina Hill: Represented Germany at the American Cup, earning 55.599 points and the 6th place. Earlier this year she already won the Sidijk Tournament in the Netherlands with 54.400.
Nadine Jarosch: No more news after she withdrew from the American Cup due to a sprained ankle.
Janine Berger: This first-year-senior might support Germany on vault at an upcoming friendly meet in Ulm between ROU, GBR (maybe) and, of course, GER. She won vault last year at the EYOF.
Joeline Möbius: At a training camp in Bavaria.
Anja Brinker: Underwent another surgery on her right foot, after she hurt it at a gymgala on January 2011. She’ll need about six month for full recovery. (DTB)
The Hindermann sisters (Giulia & Marie-Sophie): Last year, Giulia didn’t impress head coach Ulla Koch with her inconsistency and didn’t get a ticket to Worlds. Marie-Sophie might support the German team on bars but she needs to stay away from injuries. No news this year, so far.
